A good sign doesn’t cost, it pays!

A couple came into my shop a few years back looking for a sign for their new Bed and Breakfast, Lingonberry Farm, on Highway 1. I designed a sandblast sign and showed it to them a few days later, giving a price that included hanging. They agreed, and a couple weeks later I installed it.

About a month later I asked them how the sign was working for them. They told me, “It paid for itself in one week. The number of people who drove up asking for a room who had been going right on by before we hung the sign easily covered the cost of the sign. After that it was making us money.”

Five years later it’s still making them money, far in excess of their original investment. That, in my humble opinion, is what the sign business is about.
